How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on LinkedIn

Step 1 ：Download Authenticator App

Download and install the Authenticator App from your device's App Store.

Step 2 ：Setup Step

Log in to your account on the LinkedIn website, click your profile icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage, then select "Settings & Privacy".

Step 3 ：Setup Step

Under the "Sign in & security" section, click "Two-step verification".

Step 4 ：Setup Step

Click "Set up" to enable two-step verification.

Step 5 ：Setup Step

Select "Authenticator App" as the method, then click "Next".

Step 6 ：Setup Step

In this step, a QR code containing the secret key is displayed. Next, you need to use our Authenticator App to scan this QR code. Please keep this popup open to complete the setup.

Step 7 ：Scan QR Code in App

Open our Authenticator App, tap the '+' button at the top right of the screen, and then hold your device near the computer screen to scan the QR code.

Step 8 ：Get Dynamic Verification Code

After successfully scanning, a 6-digit code will appear in your App. Please note that this code refreshes every 30 seconds.

Step 9 ：Setup Step

Return to the LinkedIn webpage, enter the 6-digit code displayed in step 7, and then click "Verify".

Step 10 ：Setup Successful

Now, you have successfully setup 2FA for your LinkedIn account. From now on, when you attempt to sign in to your LinkedIn account, you will need to use our Authenticator App.
