1. Scope of Service & Universal Purchase
Authenticator Pro (hereinafter "Membership Services") is our premium tier providing unrestricted access to all advanced security capabilities:
- Universal Purchase Seamless Cross-Platform Access: Leveraging Apple's official Universal Purchase architecture, a single subscription or lifetime purchase under the same Apple ID automatically unlocks and shares Pro privileges across iPhone, iPad, macOS desktop, and Apple Watch with zero duplicate charges;
- Unlimited Accounts & Multi-Level Organization: Completely lifts the free tier limit (free tier is limited to 1 account), allowing unlimited 2FA OTP tokens and credentials with customizable folders;
- Dual Cloud Sync & End-to-End Encryption: Native Apple iCloud real-time synchronization plus self-hosted WebDAV private cloud backup, fully safeguarded by zero-knowledge local encryption (AES-256 GCM);
- Standalone Apple Watch Offline Code Generation: Independent watchOS app calculates and displays 2FA codes directly on your wrist without requiring an iPhone nearby; supports watch face complications;
- High-Speed Browser Extension Synergy: Seamless native pairing with Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari desktop extensions via local loopback bridge (127.0.0.1:52820). 100% offline security with no data leaving your device;
- Real-Time Data Breach Monitoring: Local offline intelligence compares your saved credentials against global compromise databases to prevent credential stuffing;
- Dynamic Island & Live Activities Code Display: Floating 2FA OTP codes on Dynamic Island for instant copy without leaving current workflows;
- System AutoFill Credential Extension: Deep integration with system password autofill for one-tap input across third-party apps and websites;
- Developer Security Suite: Isolated API Key vaults across multiple environments with one-tap export for .env, JSON, and cURL formats;
- Universal Data Import & Export: Lossless bi-directional migration with Google Authenticator, 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass, and standard CSV files.
2. Subscription Plans, Billing & Free Trials
We provide flexible options including Weekly, Annual, and Lifetime purchases. Actual pricing is determined by the live App Store checkout screen.
- Apple App Store Channel Settlement: All transactions are processed securely through Apple StoreKit and billed directly to your Apple ID payment method;
- Free Trial Conversion Rules: If your chosen plan includes a free trial (e.g., 3-day trial), you enjoy full Pro access during the trial. Per Apple StoreKit rules, unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the trial expiration, your Apple ID will be automatically charged for the recurring subscription term. Each Apple ID is eligible for one free trial only. Unused trial periods forfeit immediately upon cancellation or alternative plan purchase;
- Lifetime Purchase Ownership Terms: Selecting the Lifetime plan grants a perpetual, non-exclusive license to all Pro features and future maintenance updates for this major software generation with no recurring fees. On new devices, simply tap "Restore Purchases" to reactivate;
- Price Adjustment Notice: We reserve the right to revise subscription pricing. Any price change will be communicated by Apple in advance via email or system notification and requires your explicit consent. You may cancel anytime before renewal if you do not agree to the adjusted price.
3. Managing Auto-Renewal & Cancellation Guide
⚠️ [Critical Notice] Deleting or Uninstalling the App DOES NOT Cancel Your Subscription!
Because subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple, simply removing the app from your device does NOT terminate Apple's automated billing. You must actively turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before your current billing period ends.
Standard Steps to Cancel Subscriptions:
- On iPhone / iPad: Open [Settings] ➔ Tap [Your Name / Apple Account] at the top ➔ Tap [Subscriptions] ➔ Select [Authenticator] ➔ Tap [Cancel Subscription] and confirm;
- On Mac: Open [App Store] ➔ Click your profile in the lower-left corner ➔ Click [Account Settings] ➔ Scroll to "Manage" and click [Manage] next to Subscriptions ➔ Click [Edit] next to Authenticator ➔ Click [Cancel Subscription].
4. Refunds & Data Preservation Guarantee
- Exclusive Apple Billing & Refund Adjudication: In accordance with Apple Developer ecosystem policies, all in-app purchase transactions and refund requests are evaluated and settled independently by Apple. Developers do not possess access to your payment credentials and cannot initiate refunds directly. To request a refund, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com or consult our Apple Refund Guide;
- Legal Effect of Refunds: Once a refund is approved by Apple, the transaction token is revoked, terminating the Pro membership service agreement. The app will automatically revert to the standard Free tier upon next network validation;
- 100% Offline Vault Safety Guarantee: Downgrading or refunding will NEVER delete, lock, or damage your existing local 2FA tokens or saved passwords! Because of our zero-knowledge architecture, all previously saved tokens remain fully intact and operational for offline OTP generation. The free tier restriction will only apply when adding new accounts beyond the 1-account limit or enabling automated cloud sync;
- Device Transfer & Restoring Purchases: When upgrading devices or reinstalling, simply tap [Restore Purchases] inside the app to immediately restore your Pro entitlement via your Apple ID without duplicate charges.
5. User Responsibilities & Zero-Knowledge Architecture
- Device Security & Access Control: Because your 2FA OTP tokens and credentials guard your sensitive online accounts, we strongly recommend enabling Face ID, Touch ID, or App Passcode lock;
- Zero-Knowledge & User Backup Obligation: We do not store, access, or decrypt your master keys or secret seeds on any remote servers. If you do not enable iCloud sync and forget your passcode, we are technically unable to recover your vault. Please ensure you maintain backups prior to wiping devices;
- Prohibition of Reverse Engineering: You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, circumvent subscription security gates, or utilize Pro privileges for any unlawful activities.
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
- Provided "As-Is": To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Membership Services are provided on an "As-Is" and "As-Available" basis without warranties of uninterrupted uptime or error-free performance caused by third-party network issues, Apple iCloud downtime, or force majeure;
- Exclusion of Consequential Damages: In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, or third-party service bans;
- Liability Cap: To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate cumulative liability for direct damages arising out of or related to this agreement shall not exceed the actual amount paid by you for the specific membership service during the twelve (12) months preceding the dispute.
7. Governing Law, Modifications & General Terms
- Supplementary Agreement: This Agreement supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of an inconsistency regarding membership benefits, this Agreement governs;
- Modifications: We may modify this Agreement from time to time to reflect product updates or legal compliance. Continued use of Membership Services constitutes your acceptance of updated terms;
- Governing Law & Jurisdiction: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be resolved through friendly negotiations, failing which either party may submit the dispute to the competent People's Court where Nanjing Xiayuyue Network Technology Co., Ltd. is located;
