1. Agreement Acceptance

This Terms of Service is a legal agreement between you and Nanjing Xiayuyue Network Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the Authenticator application (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). Before using the App, please read these terms carefully, especially regarding subscription, refund rules, and liability limits. Once you start using the App, you are deemed to have accepted the entirety of this agreement.

2. Features and Subscription Model

Basic features of the App are provided free of charge. Advanced features, such as iCloud backup and multi-account management, require a paid subscription.

About Subscription Fees

• Subscription fees are charged directly to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase confirmation.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or turn off auto-renewal at any time in your Apple ID settings.
• Uninstalling or deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription. Please manage your subscription status via your Apple ID account.

About Refunds

Subscriptions offered by the App are digital services. Under applicable consumer protection laws, digital contents are non-returnable once delivered. Successful subscriptions are non-refundable, regardless of actual usage. If you notice abnormal charges, please visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple. We do not have the technical authority or access to manage Apple ID financial accounts.

About Free Trials

If a free trial is offered, it will automatically transition into a paid cycle upon expiration. Please monitor your subscription status accordingly.

3. User Responsibilities

Secure Your Device: The 2FA passcodes stored in the App directly correlate with your personal account security. Please enable the App Lock feature to prevent unauthorized access when lending your device to others.

Backup Your Data: The App operates strictly on a local storage model. We do not keep copies of your 2FA data. Before switching devices, resetting, or uninstalling the App, you must back up or export your data. Failure to do so will result in permanent data loss, and all liabilities will be borne by you.

Prohibited Actions:

• Jailbreaking or rooting your device, which may compromise the built-in security features of the App;
• Decompiling, cracking, reverse engineering, or redistributing the App;
• Using the App to perform any illegal activity or harm others.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights related to the user interfaces, logical flows, source codes, and brand trademarks of this App belong solely to Nanjing Xiayuyue Network Technology Co., Ltd. Unauthorized copying, imitation, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited without written consent.

5. Service Stability and Liability Limits

We strive to continuously maintain and improve the App, but we cannot be held liable for:

• Service disruptions caused by OS bugs, network issues, or force majeure events;
• Data loss resulting from device damage, loss, or user misoperation;
• Compatibility issues arising from changes in 2FA standards by third-party platforms (e.g., Google, GitHub);
• Data inaccessibility due to the lack of user backups in case of app updates, service termination, or take-downs.

In any case, our maximum cumulative liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us during the 12 months prior to the occurrence of the loss.

6. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate third-party tools for crash reporting and anonymous statistics (see Privacy Policy). These services are run independently by their respective providers. We do not assume any liability for their contents or actions. Network data transfer fees incurred while syncing are your sole responsibility under your carrier agreement.

7. Agreement Amendments

We may update these terms from time to time due to regulatory updates or product enhancements. The updated version will be published inside the App or on the website. Continued use signifies acceptance of the new terms.

8. Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be settled through friendly negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may file a lawsuit in the competent court located at the residence of Nanjing Xiayuyue Network Technology Co., Ltd.
